Putting Up The Tree

Standard

DAY ONE:

After restringing the lights on the Christmas tree a few years ago, and vowing never to do it again on such a scale, I have to admit that I had a little trepidation about what we would find when we brought the tree out again. Matt and Cayden got to work right after church on Sunday – so far so good!

And then we found out some fuses had blown and we couldn’t go and get more until Monday. Doh!

So we spent Sunday assembling and fluffing our giant tree. I always forget just how beautiful it is until it all comes together!

Everyone was enamored by the ladder, especially Alison and Megan.

It wasn’t such a bad thing to make a fun project like this take two days….

DAY TWO:

Matt bought fuses on the way home from work and the serious decorating began!

Jack and Dylan fluffed and decorated the mini trees.

Megan played and played and played with our wooden nativity!

Finally the tree is lighted and the ornaments can go on!

Megan had a blast. Last year she was such a baby. (Click here to check it out!)
